Pulpy Fictions: Vacuum
A downloadable game
Following an explosion that destroyed your ship, you are trapped in a tiny escape pod hurtling through space. All alone, your only company is a faceless, nameless voice on the craft's intercom. Who are you? How did you get here? You will shape the story as you play, moving through multiple story paths based on your responses.
Vacuum is a Pulpy Fiction - a quick-to-play explorable fiction game for the PlayDate console. The story changes as you play - your responses shaping the narrative based on what you choose to say.
Vacuum is bite sized, only taking a minute or two to play through; but each playthrough can create a different story full of mysteries and questions to excite your imagination on the go!
This game uses the D-pad to move, interact with objects and navigate menus; and the A button to make dialogue choices. The crank can optionally be used to select menu options.
We believe this game is suitable for everyone, but lightly addresses some sinister themes.

Brilliant game.
Immersive, scary and peaceful all at the same time. Amazing writing and design throughout.
Fantastic job immersing us into the story. It felt nice to have a soul on the other side of that radio. Started the adventure with dread, but eventually accepted my fate and enjoyed how beautiful and silent space can be.
Thank you so much, I'm happy you enjoyed it!
